Make sure that you are accessing your Live Lessons through Connexus
The most common solution to LiveLesson problems.
Check this if you are experiencing:
- LiveLesson account and/or password issues
- General Information
- Clearing the browser’s cache resolves most issues. This is always a good first strategy to try.
Users have difficulty with LiveLesson running on Chrome browsers, but there are workarounds.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Make sure you only have one tab open and all other programs, including Google Drive and desktop apps, are closed.
- From the top right of the browser, select More (three vertical dots).
- Select More tools, then Clear browsing data.
- Choose the Advanced tab.
- Choose the time range of All time.
- Ensure only the top four boxes are selected, as shown in the image below.
- Select Clear data.
If you receive a message below: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
- Restart your router and then restart your computer, If this step does not work move on to step 2
- Try to connect to the same site off your home network. Use a phone hotspot or even try logging in using your phone but on your cell data plan.
- If you are able to get on the site this way. This is a network issue. Some providers have apps where you are able to release blocked sites. If you are needing more assistance please get in contact with your internet provider and they will be able to assist you. Make sure to let them know that you have restarted your router and restarted the computer and that the site works while off your network.
Set Browser Site Settings
Review and reset these if your issue persists.
This section should help if you are experiencing:
- microphone and/or audio issues
- camera and/or video issues
- miscellaneous room and/or recording issues
Review and/or reset the browser settings after the browser cache has been cleared. This strategy may be used together with other strategies to solve a variety of issues.
Browsers should be configured to allow the following:
- Camera = Allow
- Microphone = Allow
- Notifications = Allow
- JavaScript = Allow
- Images = Allow
- Pop-ups = Allow
- Background sync = Allow
- Sound = Allow
- Automatic Downloads = Allow
- Clipboard = Allow
- Select the lock icon in the address bar.
- Select Site Settings.
- View and adjust Permissions as needed.

4. Next to Google Chrome, click More Uninstall.
5. Click Uninstall.
6. To allow this app to make changes to your device, click Yes.
Install
1. Download the installation file.
2. If prompted, click Run or Save.
3. If you choose Save, to start installation, either:

6. If you're asked, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device," click Yes.
7. Start Chrome:
8. Windows 10 and up: A Chrome window opens after everything is done. You can make Chrome your default browser.

Uninstall
1. On your computer, close all Chrome windows and tabs.
2. Click the Start menu Settings.
3. Click Apps.
4. Under "Apps & features," find and click Google Chrome.
5. Click Uninstall.
6. Confirm by clicking Uninstall.
7. To delete your profile information, like bookmarks and history, check "Also delete your browsing data."
8. Click Uninstall.
Install
1. Download the installation file.
2. If prompted, click Run or Save.
3. If you choose Save, to start installation, either:
4. Double-click the download.
5. Click Open file.
6. If you're asked, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device," click Yes.
7. Start Chrome:

Uninstall
1. At the bottom of your computer screen, in your Dock, right-click Chrome.
2. Select Quit.
3. Open Finder.
4. Go to the folder containing the Google Chrome application on your computer.
-Tip: It may be in your Applications folder. If not, go to File
5. Find, and search for "Google Chrome."Drag Google Chrome to the Trash.
6. Optional: Delete your profile information, like bookmarks and history:

- At the top of the screen, click Go Go to Folder.
- Enter
~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome
. - Click Go.
- Select all the folders, and drag them to the Trash.
Install
1. Download the installation file.
2. Open the file called "googlechrome.dmg."
3. In the window that opens, find Chrome .
4. Drag Chrome to the Applications folder.
-You might be asked to enter the admin password.
-If you don't know the admin password, drag Chrome to a place on your computer where you can make edits, like your desktop.
5. Open Chrome.
6. Open Finder.
7. In the sidebar, to the right of Google Chrome, click Eject .

Adobe Connect Application/Plugin
For best performance, hosts and presenters should use the latest version of the Adobe Connect Desktop application. Downloading Adobe Connect App
