To check if your Dell needs to update please follow the steps below.
**Please save what you are working on as your device will require a restart after updating**
Let's check to see if your Dell device needs to update to a new version. Start by clicking on the Windows Button (Bottom left corner of the desktop) and start typing in Update (it won't look like you can type initially but it will allow it)
Make sure you see Check for Updates is highlights and click on it.
In this new screen click on Check for Updates this will check to see if there are any updates to Windows. If there are none, please click on Check online for updates from Microsoft Update. If there are any updates they will start to run. Please be patient as this could take some time.
Now let's check for any updates specific to your device itself
Open up Software Center on your device
**If Software Center is not on your Desktop like the picture, please click on the Windows button and start typing in software center and hit enter when it is highlighted**
In Software Center please look for Dell Command Update and install it
Once it is installed, click on the Windows Button and find Dell Command | Update and open it
In Dell Command | Update please click on Check this will check for and run any updates that are needed

Please Restart your computer after all updates have been applied
