Espanol: Meraki Self Service Portal (Spanish)
The Meraki self service portal in a one-stop location to install or delete apps from an iPad.
All iPads should have an icon for the Meraki Self Service portal that looks like this:
Note: If the iPad is locked, missing, or in Guided Access mode the portal can also be accessed on any computer at:
Tap on the icon then log in with the student Classlink login and password (not their full email address.)

There are several tools that can help you manage your student's iPad including clearing the passcode if one was set. Warning: the Erase tool deletes all content and settings which puts the iPad back to factory settings. If that happens, please submit a help ticket for a tech to walk you through setting it back up. You'll want to stay clear of that button.
We are often contacted about iPads that are missing in the home or classroom. In this case, you can log on to the portal from any computer and click the bell icon to make the iPad play a tone. It's pretty loud and can help you locate it. The ipad must be turned on for this to work.
Clearing Guided Access
Students occasionally turn on Guided Access which is set with a passcode then have no idea what the passcode is. To clear Guided Access, log on to the self service portal from any computer (link is at the top of this document.) Click Enable Lost Mode (from the screen above), wait a few seconds for the iPad to lock into lost mode then click Disable Lost Mode. Once the iPad recovers it should be cleared of Guided Access.
The Apps tab is where you can install, update, or uninstall (delete) apps from the iPad. The page is searchable so you don't have to scroll for days looking for a particular app. You can also easily verify if an app needs to be updated because the screen shows the version installed as well as the latest version. If an update is needed, simply click Reinstall under the app.
