Why is ClassLink presenting me with a "reCAPTCHA" prompt?
ClassLink has implemented the reCAPTCHA (CAPTCHA) process to verify identity after 5 failed login attempts. You'll need to complete a security verification task, powered by Google’s random generator.
Initial Security Verification Task
The initial layer of reCAPTCHA security is the common I'm not a robot confirmation box. Select the checkbox to confirm you're a human, not an automated security threat.
Additional Security Verification Task
Several failed login attempts may result in an additional verification task. The additional security task includes a grid of an image (or multiple images) with an item listed at the top. Select all the squares that include the listed item to complete the verification task.
Alternative Image Challenge Task
For individuals with low vision or other impairments, can play an audio version of the additional verification task. Click the headphone 🎧 icon at the bottom of the reCAPTCHA box, then click the Play botton to hear a short audio clip. Type what's spoken into the entry field.
What if I am not able to login?
If you are having a problem remembering your password, or believe it has been changed, you can use the "Help, I forgot my password" link to recover your password.
Additionally, you will now be prompted with a notification letting you know if your account has had any "Failed Login Attempts". If you did not cause these failures, it may be an indication that someone tried to access your account. It is a good practice to change your password in case someone has been able to gain access to your account.
