TestNav is the application used to complete AimsWeb assessments.
Bellow you will find video instructions in how to log in to your TestNav Account. Note: the username and password will be provided by your teacher.
1. When I try and log in on my Chromebook, I get an error "The username or password you entered is incorrect."
The issue may be that you need to log out of your district account on the Chromebook. Please refer to minute 1:16 in the Chromebook video above to log out. You can also reboot your Chromebook, just make sure and start TestNav before you log in. If you have done this and still receive the error, please contact your teacher.
2. I am logged in on my Chromebook, but when I try and take a test the "Start" button is gray.
You may still be logged into your district account on the the Chromebook. Refer to minute 1:09 in the Chromebook video above to log out of your account. You can also reboot your Chromebook, just make sure and start TestNav before you log in.
3. I still have a gray "Start" or "Resume" button.
If you were kicked out of a test before finishing, you will have to contact your teacher to have the test reset.
4. Can not login and you have verified the credentials, may also get an error regarding "needed update".
The Chromebook may need to be updated. You can use this document to Update your Chromebook. If you are still not able to login, please submit a support ticket with the error you are getting and the campus tech will contact you about possibly resetting the device.
