Select STAFF then type anything in the first and last name fields...
whatever is quickest. It doesn't need to be your name. Tap Access Internet.
Enter the username ghstesting and password of the week.
Tap Next.
When you get to the desktop screen the Meraki management system will start assigning the correct permissions to the iPad and automatically install apps.

After a minute or so (while you're waiting on apps to load), tap on Settings--> General--> Device Management
Tap on Device Management again
If the wifi profile is listed then go to the next step.
It's ok if the rest of the profiles aren't there yet.
If the wifi profile is listed, go to Settings--> Wifi
Tap on GCISD-BYOD, click the small i next to the network name.
(Note.. screenshots below show the old name of GCISD-BYOD but process is the same.)
Click Forget This Network
In a couple of seconds the network should change to GCISD-IPAD.
Go back to the desktop screen and set the iPad aside while it downloads profiles and a handful of specific apps. Once the background turns blue and Desmos plus three others are the only apps installed you can move on to the next steps.
Tap on Meraki MDM app then tap on each of the following screens.
Confirm that there four green checkmarks on the Meraki home screen.
These iPads have not been used in a long time and must be updated in order to function properly for testing. Go back to the home screen and tap on Settings--> General--> Software Update. If it shows to be preparing an update or needs an update, let it run.
Once it has finished downloading the update it will ask you to install.
Tap Install Now.
Tap Agree on the Terms and Conditions screen then just wait. The iPad will restart when it's finished. Go back to Settings--> General--> Software Update and confirm that there are no more updates. If not, you're done!
Updating the system takes a while so you'll need to just keep checking on them. The more iPad updates that are running, the slower it will get so it's helpful to spread them in the building so they're pulling from different wireless access points. For example, after you have the first 6 or 8 going, move them a few rooms away then just check on them every 15 minutes or so. They'll go to sleep but that's ok. They'll keep downloading/installing while they're in that state. Once they're totally updated, power down to preserve battery.
