Now, on to Syncing Your Grades
Why:
Canvas manually syncs grades to your school's Student Information System (SIS), which in our case is Skyward. These directions explain how to run a sync.
How:
When creating an assignment.
Make sure to check Sync to Skyward when you are creating your assignments. This checkbox is in the assignment settings of every kind of assignment you create.
Check your assignments from within the Assignments menu.
Within your Assignments menu inside a course, you can quickly see if an assignment is Synced to Skyward.
A black x means the assignment is not ready to Sync to Skyward. You can click it to toggle it on.
A green check means the assignment is ready to Sync to Skyward.
Running a Sync
1. To run a sync, start in your Grades inside of a course.
2. Select the Sync dropdown and click on Sync to Skyward.
3. Select the Sections, Assignments, and then select Post Grades.
